What is the difference between traditional and digital media?

Traditional media:

Traditional forms of media have been active for hundreds of years and are now having to adapt to the digital age. The oldest newspaper is the London gazette which started in 1677.

Traditional media is becoming less popular as time goes on
Traditional forms of media are becoming less popular as audiences are choosing digital media. Traditional media is mainly used by the older generations since they grew up with them; plus physical forms of newspapers of mainly focused towards the older generations since younger people can get the news on their phones.

Digital media is a media firmly based in technology whereas traditional media is less technology based and has needed to evolve with the times and becoming more digital.
